Alouette II

   

The field-tests done with a Hiller UH-12B were so positive that the Swiss Air Force wanted a dedicated helicopter for battlefield- and artillery-observation. This lead eventually to the procurement of a total of thirty Alouette II. After the purchase of enough Alouette III, this helicopter remained in service in the pilot-schools. Eventually it was withdrawn from use in 1994.
