This book covers the last 14 years of the Swiss surveillance wing as the premier front line aviation unit of the Swiss Air Force. The unit stood down after 64 years of existence being replaced by the newly formed Professional Aviation Corps (Berufsfliegerkorps).

In this book, the members of the surveillance wing are covering various events from their point of view – this could be the visit to the JPO at Avord (France) as well as the UNHCR missions in Albania.
